Light Church have helped support the building of six Churches within IBFCT. It has also built an office, a kitchen and two classrooms for the nursery school at  Nyasaka. A refuge for the Masai has also been constructed there. Click on the above to view pictures of the buildings that have been constructed.
IBFCT have a very strong connection with the Masai people. The church at Nyasaka in Mwanza has a ministry devoted to the Masai. They have an educational ministry to teach the Masai who arrive in Mwanza basic literacy and to help them find work. With their main language being Maa, the Masai Ministry educates the Masai in Swahili and English, along with giving them other life skills needed to help them adapt in to a new way of life. The ministry started in 2006 and over 1000 Masai have passed through the programme. Many have come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Click on the link above to learn more about this ministry.
Love In Action is the social action programme of the Nyasaka IBFCT church. Founded by assistant pastor Samuel Wilonga and his wife in 2013, the ministry is committed to showing God's love to the community through practical action. It supports widows, orphans, and the vulnerable in society. The team at Nyasaka believe that all people deserve security, dignity and above all love. They support more than 50 orphans and this year they plan to start an evening 'homework' class three evenings a week to support these children through their education, and give them every opportunity to stay in school and complete their education.
Dedicated to improving the lives of children in their area, many of the churches in IBFCT provide nursery and further education for children. With 2 classrooms built on the church site at Nyasaka, they provide an excellent source of education for the children. The nursery also links perfectly with the Love in Action program, to help orphans and children of families who can't always support their children in going to school.
