Missions Team
Meet the People Behind the Work

Chris Rhodes
Missions Team Leader
Chris visited Tanzania as part of the team in 2018 and took over as the leader of the team in September 2019. He is keen to speak with anyone who wants to get involved or wishes to visit the work in Tanzania, and is the first point of contact if you wish to know more about it.

Pete Nickson
Team member
Peter has worked on the fundraising side since 2006, and has been a member of the missions team for over ten years.

Grace Broughton
Team member
Grace visited Sierra Leone in 2019 with Operation Orphan and joined the Missions team in September 2019. She planned to visit Tanzania in 2020 until the Covid pandemic put paid to that.

Josh Hogarth
Team member
Josh has been a member of the missions team since 2015 and has visited both Ethiopia and Tanzania, the latter as part of the team in 2018. He spent a lot of time with the Masai at Nyasaka and also in the Love In Action ministry.

Michael Fidgen
Team member
"Fidge" as he prefers to be known joined the missions team in September 2019 having regularly helped out on our car boot sales and the table top sales at Lytham. He and his wife Alice are strong supporters of our table top sales and he is the only person we know who doesn't mind getting up at 5.30 am to go on a car boot sale on a Saturday!
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:24-25
